Expressive Arts: Movement

”The teacher is of course an artist, but being an artist does not mean that he or she can make the profile, can shape the students. What the educator does in teaching is to make it possible for the students to become themselves.”

— Paulo Freire

Engaging in solo, partner and group activities, participants generate content and transform challenges through somatic play. We alternate between expressive art modalities including: creative movement, visual art, written word and dialogue, helping us bridge the gap between our innate creativity and our daily lives.
